Changing the sheets

Gunnar decided he was going to help me change the sheets tonight. Or at least make a tent out of the old sheets.

Toweling off

Gunnar loves towels! If I ever leave a towel out (even a damp one) he'll find it on stretch out on it. Tonight he was feeling a little feisty and attacked the towel. (The towel did have it coming.)

A Thank You Note

Dear Apple,
Thank you for the heated pillow.
~Gunnar

The power adapter to my laptop gets warm and apparently Gunnar decided to use it as a heated pillow. I can't imagine it's comfortable, but he seems to like it.

Friends?

Queen Katie sleeping on the pillow. Gunnar sleeping on his back.

The kitties have almost been acting like friends lately.

They can sleep in the same vicinity without too much fighting. They still hiss and fight, but maybe at least some of it is playing.

Yesterday, they shared a plate of tuna. !?!?! They were civil and polite. There was no hissing, slapping, posturing etc. I have never seen them share food before. This is huge progress.

It only took two years.

Mojo in Scarves: Part 3

The suddenly warm weather turned chilly again so I got out a scarf this morning.

Mojo must have thought it was the best toy ever! because he instantly wanted to play.

"You want the scarf?" I asked him.

He lunged. He got got the scarf.

Just maybe not like he planned.

Mojo is displeased.

So stylish.

Please dad, take it off.

Where's the Remote: Part 2

I was hunting for the remote again last night and couldn't seem to find it. I wonder if Katie's seen it.

Have you seen the remote, Katie?
I honestly don't know why they like to lie on the remotes. But at least I found it.

Shower Surprise

I was hanging some clothes to dry in the bathroom, when out of the corner of my eye, I saw something moving. In my shower.

This is never a good thing. So I look down and find a little green lizard running around the floor of the shower.

I screamed.

For the record, I am not afraid of lizards, especially cute green lizards, but it wasn't what I expected to find in my shower. In February.

How he got in my house, in my shower, I don't know. But when I went to take a picture he was hanging out on the drying rack. After I got over the shock, I caught him and put him out on the porch, where he hangs out during the summer. Hopefully, he'll stay out on the porch. I can't vouch for his safety with Gunnar and Katie around.

Sorry, lizard. You can't be the next addition to Mojo and Friends. Though I know one or two cats who would love to "play" with you.
