Daddy's girl

Katie has been a daddy's girl since the first day we brought her home. She just adores Matt. She'll cuddle him for hours when he's home. Here she is keeping him company when he fell asleep on the couch.

He likes big butts…..

If there was every any doubt, Ozzy is an ass man.

I was trying to take a nap and he decided to curl up on my butt. He's even gently cradling me.

This is not the first time he's done this. I guess my butt is a good kitty heating pad. It's warm and cushy. I just always wince and hope he doesn't decide to knead me. Those claws hurt.

Holding hands…

The pets like to cuddle and nap together. Gunnar and Mojo were napping on the bed and I saw this and it looked like they were trying to hold hands in their sleep. I thought it looked awfully sweet.

A Thank You Note

The power adapter to my laptop gets warm and apparently Gunnar decided to use it as a heated pillow. I can't imagine it's comfortable, but he seems to like it.

Sunny Spot

The cats love to find a good sunny spot. This weekend Katie found a particularly good one in Mojo's dog bed. So that's where she spent the afternoon napping. Thanks Mojo.

Weekends

This is what weekends at my house look like:

Sleepy dog, napping cat, library book, laptop.

I was working on a story and the just want to stay next to me. Poor Mojo, he looks bored out of his mind.

Snuggle kitty

As feisty as this guy is, he sure loves to cuddle. He gives the BEST hugs and kisses. If we'r not around, he'll gladly cuddle a blanket. He also takes a nap on the bed at the same time everyday. So if around 6:30 to 8 p.m., you're looking for him, he'll be in the softest spot he can find on the bed.

Katie is all curled up in the bedding taking a much-need weekend nap. I thought she mimicked the shape of the pink blanket well.

The Sweetest Thing

Today I went to take a nap on the couch. The kitty promptly curled up right next to me. She snuggled me so tightly I couldn't move and started purring up a storm. It was so sweet.

Paging Dr. Mojo

I was sick today. I just felt horrible, so at noon I went home as I wasn't going to anything done at the office. 

When I got home I passed out on the couch, and Mojo stayed right by my side. He wouldn't get more than an arm's length away from me while I slept and I thought that was cute.

I eventually woke up and checked my e-mail (I'm a total workaholic) and Katie syayed snugly in my lap the whole time, and this isn't something she often does.

Yes, the kids were extra cute today. 

Sunday afternoon

Katie and Mojo spent Sunday afternoon napping on the couch. Katie was cuddled in the blanket and Mojo (all 37 pounds of him) was perched on the back of the couch. Can you guess where mom had been napping?
